About the event
'Summertime' is a family event curated by author/poet/cartoonist Mike Barfield and Music Director Benjamin Ellin. The Festival Orchestra will accompany the songs and stories of Mike Barfield, with audience participation. After the interval (ice cream anyone?), the Festival Orchestra will perform Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf with animated film.
